GCASF - Projects

GCA Senior Services project is design to engage and assist Grenadian families to better cope with and manage the care of their senior relatives. The program will recruit senior care experts and volunteers to provide critical assessment, awareness information, network resource access and various support services. This program will enrich and empower the lives of all parties involved and will help our Association to inspire especially our young people in high school and college to be more engage with our elder population while earning community service credits and important life skills.

GCA Senior Services program will include but not be limited to

Senior Citizen Coordinator
Assessment Team of individuals such as Therapists, Social Worker, Case Manager, Healthcare Professional
Adult Volunteers (Professionals and Retirees)
Youth Volunteers (High School and College Students – for at least 2 years)

GCA Youth Leadership Empowerment project designed to assist Grenadian youths in becoming good citizens in a challenging and changing world. This community service program is intended to mentor and prepare Grenadian youths living in South Florida and in Grenada to acquire critical skills in areas such as self confidence, ethics, resume writing and interviewing, money management, relationships, conflict resolution, networking, college readiness, academic and career success, family and community support. This program will recruit passionate volunteer leaders with mentoring characteristics to assist our youths in critical thinking to impact their lives, their relatives, friends and networks they pursue. This program will enrich and empower the lives of all parties involved and will help our Association to inspire especially our young people in high school and college to earn community service credits and important life skills

GCA Youth Empowerment project will include but not be limited to

Youth Coordinator(s)
Adult Volunteers (Parents, Mentors, Professionals, Retirees)
Programs to empower youths such as career guidance, work ethics, entrepreneurship, community services, financial management etc.

GCA Multi-Complex will host activities sponsored by GCA and other entities. Rental of the facility and other services will generate revenues to finance the mortgage and operations. Additional funds will be generated through fundraising efforts. Through this facility much can be accomplished to build stronger bonds amongst all nationalities in South Florida and achieving common measurable goals and objectives.

GCA Multi-Complex Facility project will include but not be limited to –
